About Sarah ... 
After reading
Music at
the University
of York, Sarah
took up
a residency with Jumeirah International, Dubai, UAE,
performing classical and popular
music in the famous Burj al Arab, the Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the Emirates
Towers.
In 2002 Sarah moved to Bangkok,
Thailand
to establish and teach in the Tamnak Prathom Harp Centre. There she
wrote
teaching material for the centre and gave recitals at the Siam
Society,
the Dusit Thani Hotel and the Tamnak Prathom
Palace
and
performed with the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra.
Sarah
regularly performs all over the UK, Northern Ireland and the Channel
Islands and has also played in much of Europe and in the USA.
She has
appeared on national television in the UK,
Greece,
the UAE and Thailand.
She has played at many prestigious UK venues including the Houses of
Parliament;
the Royal Opera House; The Royal Albert Hall; Covent Garden; The
Natural History Museum, Blenheim Palace;
Cliveden; York
Minster; The Sheldonian, the Bodleian
Library and the JdP in Oxford; Wembley Arena; West Wycombe
House (for HRH Princess Margaret)
and Chequers (for Prime Minister John Major).
Now based in Thame, Oxfordshire,
Sarah regularly gives solo and
chamber music recitals, appears as a concerto soloist and performs with
various
orchestras. She also has a thriving teaching practice and regularly
puts on Masterclasses and Workshops for her students. Particularly fond
of
lighter repertoire, she recently spent a season playing aboard the Saga
Pearl
Cruise Ship. She has just completed 4 years as resident harpist at the
Springs
Hotel, Wallingford
and is a regular at Waddesdon Manor and Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons.
